The Grandin Village Business Association (GVBA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization developed to promote and advance the Grandin Village Business District. As a non-profit, we rely on sponsorships, memberships and donations from our local community to help support our on-going activities.
Family-friendly community events like our WinterFest Street Festival, featuring handmade craft vendors, our Boogie Woogie WinterFest band belting out classic blues and jazz holiday favorites, and an Ugly Sweater Contest, furthers our mission to attract economic activity to the businesses and restaurants in Grandin Village, while preserving its characteristics as a unique and historical neighborhood shopping district.
Becoming a sponsor at this very popular event not only increases your brand visibility, it can also be used to promote and mesh your business community goals with our GVBA mission: to preserve the Village’s identity as the finest mixed-use, pedestrian, boutique commercial district in SW Virginia.
Where does your donation go?
Your donation helps fund our community events, which in turn enable us to continue beautification of the Village and driving economic activity by:
- purchasing and maintaining the 15 beautiful flower baskets that enhance our light poles every summer
- maintaining the Historic Grandin Village website providing info to the community with a calendar promoting daily events
- creating cultural activities such as our Art Walk featuring local artists, making our community more attractive for visitors with our Holiday Children's Parade and special events
- and funding future plans for wayfaring and identity endeavors.
