Grandin Village WinterFest Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest!
To be eligible as an Ugly Holiday Sweater Contestant you must wear a Holiday themed Sweater, Sweatshirt, Sweater Vest or Jacket to WinterFest. If you want your pet to compete also, they would need to wear an outfit to the event, either themed to match yours (if that is the category you want to enter), or it can be judged for its own outfit.
When you get to WinterFest, come to the Grandin Village Business Association tent (to the left of the stage) to register. Everyone who registers will receive a number. Keep your number so that you can hold it up in front of you on the stage!
The fun event will happen during a band break at 4:45 PM. Please come to the stage with your number. Three judges will be scoring the event and tallying their scores (the judges may consider audience applause in their decision.)
UGLY HOLIDAY SWEATER CONTEST RULES & REGS

You must come to the event wearing your holiday themed sweater, sweatshirt, or sweater vest. Turtlenecks and t-shirts will only be accepted underneath your Ugly Holiday Sweater attire, but it will not be considered worn by itself as a contest entry

May be homemade or store-bought. You may add to or alter your sweater however you like - have fun and get creative! To be eligible as part of the “sweater” it must be attached. Additional items such as hats, jewelry, decorated pants or other festive accessories may be added, but will only be considered for the Most Overall Creative Design Sweater award.

YOU CAN BE DISQUALIFIED FOR THE FOLLOWING:
- If your sweater has any profanity or adult content on it. This is a family-friendly event!
- Putting on your ugly Holiday Sweater after entering (you must be already wearing your sweater when you show up to the contest)
- Removing your sweater before the winner has been announced
- Altering your sweater after entering the contest area. (Any and all alterations or additions to your sweater must be completed before entering the contest)
- Swapping your sweater with another contestant before the winners have been announced
- If your sweater does not have a Holiday theme
