Beginner Pedal Bike Group for ages 4-6: This group is for very new riders just learning how to ride a pedal bike. Kids will practice controlling speed downhill, bike path etiquette, going over rocks and bumps while pedaling, turning, stopping and starting.
Parents/guardians must be present and available to help their kids as needed. Bring a bike and wear your sneakers. Helmets are required for all riders.

Discover Ecuador through its food and art!
The Art of Place brings together food, art and culture for a lovely evening of exploration and creativity. We’re exploring Ecuador! Esteban, husband and behind the scenes partner of the owner, is Ecuadorian, so this one is especially close to our hearts.
Together with guest chef Amia of Catered to The Soul, we’ll explore Ecuadorian flavors through three traditional dishes:
Ceviche de Palmitos — Heart of Palm Ceviche
Sopa de Quinoa — Quinoa Soup with Beef
Locro de Papa — Ecuadorian Potato Soup

And then, we’ll explore Ecuador through its art! We’ll discover the work of renowned Ecuadorian artist Oswaldo Guayasamín, exploring his story and expressive approach to art. We’ll guide you through creating your own floral painting inspired by one of his works, using shape, line and color to make something uniquely yours.
No art experience necessary. Just come ready to explore, create and enjoy the evening! Your ticket includes all three Ecuadorian tastings, a guided painting experience and all art materials.

Decorate you and your bike using a cardboard bike box—and any other materials you choose! Bring (or ride) your completed masterpiece to Explore Park on Saturday October 17th to ride the Bike Box Derby Course, which will be a paved loop less than ½ mile long. Expert judges will select a winner based on creativity, amount of the bike box used, and ability to complete the course. We will have categories for kids and adults. The Richmond, VA based group is quickly proving that they intend to be the new face of southern rock. Holy Roller has been dominating the east coast, selling out nearly every show over the last year, not to mention some outstanding performances that landed them as festival favorites at Bristol Rhythm & Roots and Red Wing. It's the grand finale of the year and it's a total smoke show! Starting at 4pm we'll heat up the Village with Jstop Latin Soul. Born in the Blue Ridge mountains of Roanoke, Virginia, and fueled by an obsession for Afro-Cuban rhythms, Jstop Latin Soul ignites the stage with a bold fusion of Latin grooves, blazing jazz, and gritty soul.
Then, at 7pm local favorites and Chillage alumni, Lazy Man Dub Band will take to the stage. Lazy Man draws inspiration from the great reggae bands of the past, such as Bob Marley and the Wailers, The Skatalites, and The Maytals. Their music combines classic elements of roots reggae, dub, and one drop with a modern sensibility, resulting in a sound that is both timeless and fresh.
So bring a friend or ten and let's chill!

Costumes Encouraged! The Freak Rangers are a Virginia-based roots-rock, Americana, and acoustic-psych band. Evolving out of the '90s Roanoke music scene, they bring together former members of the band Red Weather along with other veteran musicians for a sound they call "homespun psychedelic fun.
The Freak Rangers blend original songwriting with select covers. Their acoustic-leaning, folk-rock style is heavily leaning into jam-band and psychedelic-folk aesthetics.
For months the band has been working diligently to release their new double-album, and THIS IS THE RELEASE Show! So get your costumes on for pre-Halloween, get your tickets, and come rock out to FREAK RANGERS' NIGHT OF THE LIVING DOUBLE ALBUM show! Boo!

The Grandin Village Farmers Market (GVFM) supports local, sustainable agriculture by connecting the public with local farmers and food producers.
The GVFM features 100% locally produced products with an emphasis on organic, sustainable, and humane producers, products, and practices. All products are produced within 100 miles of the market location, with the exception of regional seafood from Virginia and North Carolina waters (only if the vendor is local) and coffee (only if the roaster is local).
The market is comprised of farmers and food producers featuring certified and non-certified organic veggies, fruit, herbs, seasonal seedlings, cheese, pasture raised/grass-fed chicken, beef, pork, and lamb, regional seafood, locally roasted coffee, artisan homemade breads, muffins, baked goods, hot-prepared foods, and fresh-cut flowers.
